Job Description

Environmental Alliance, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Scientist or Geologist to join our growing team in Richmond, VA. Duties for this role will include remediation system operation & maintenance support, fieldwork for groundwater and soil investigations, stormwater sampling, and oversight of environmental projects ranging from retail petroleum to federal Superfund sites.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Geography, Hydrology, Engineering or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications
  • Valid driving license
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Successful candidates subject to drug testing

Competitive candidates will have:

  • 2-3 years’ experience with environmental and/or geologic field work/investigations
  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification
  • Prior experience performing groundwater and soil investigations
  • Prior experience with remediation system operation and maintenance
  • Industrial hygiene certifications (Asbestos Inspector License)
